Premise, a San Francisco, CA-based mobile information network bringing hyperlocal visibility to the world’s hardest-to-see places, raised $50m in Series C funding.
The round was led by Valor Equity Partners. In conjunction with the funding, Antonio Gracias, CEO, Valor Equity Partners, will be joining Premise’s Board of Directors.
The company will use the funds to generate revenue, refine the sales and business processes, and improve efficiencies on its contributor network as it continues to grow.
Co-founded in 2012 by David Soloff, CEO, and Joe Reisinger, CTO, Premise is a mobile information network bringing hyperlocal visibility to the world’s hardest-to-see places. It indexes and analyzes millions of observations captured daily by a global network of contributors to surface connections between them to map reality on the ground, and help global decision-makers move faster and make impactful decisions.
The company, which has a presence in 30 countries, is also backed by the Social+Capital Partnership, Google Ventures, Andreessen Horowitz and Harrison Metal.
