Teridion, a San Francisco, CA, cloud-based networking company that delivers fast Internet, closed a $15m Series B round of financing.
The round, which brought total funding to $20m, was led by Singtel Innov8 with participation from existing investors JVP and Magma.
The company will use the funds to accelerate its go-to-market strategy and grow its team both in the US and internationally.
Led by Elad Rave, founder and CEO, Teridion has also announced general availability of its advanced Global Cloud Network, which is currently being used by more than 15 companies spanning some of the most bandwidth-demanding applications and services, such as hosting and file sharing, rich media and advertising.
The Teridion Global Cloud Network allows businesses to experience Internet performance improvements (videos, Web conferences, files uploading, gaming, etc.). To provide peak performance and reliability, Teridion directs traffic to the best entry point for each end-user. By leveraging its proprietary algorithms a management system, and measurement agents, the solution provides a real-time congestion map of the Internet to find the best possible path, taking into account bandwidth, latency and geography.
