UNIFi Software, a San Mateo, CA-based data integration solution for the enterprise, secured $10m in Series A funding.
The round was led by Pelion Venture Partners with participation from Canaan Partners.
The company will use the funds to scale customer acquisition by ramping up its sales and marketing team; growing the engineering team; and to accelerate market capture through the introduction of a cloud-based free trial version of the product.
Led by Rob Carlson, CEO and co-founder, UNIFi provides business users with a platform to search and discover data assets of interest across the entire enterprise landscape; acquire, enrich and integrate those data assets; and then derive insight within their analytics tool of choice.
Customers include Disney, A.T. Kearney and Havas Media Group.
