Desmotec, a Biella, Italy-based isoinertial training and physical conditioning company, raised €215k in seed funding.
Club degli Investitori, a Piedmont-based business angel network, and Embed Capital made the investment.
The company intends to use the funds to continue to expand abroad.
Founded by Alberto Bertagnolio, Desmotec has developed machines for training, rehab, and injury prevention which allow users to manage their path in a customized way. The company, which currently collaborates with several tech partners to study innovative protocols for training, rehabilitations and prevention, is also launching the Desmotec Academy, comprised by professional trainers dedicated to scientifically and culturally disseminate the isoinertial method as an innovative method both in the sports and physio-rehab fields.
