Startup launch platform Startups.co has finalized the acquisition of Zirtual, a Las Vegas, Nevada-based startup that matches U.S.-based virtual assistants with businesses.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
The acquisition, firstly announced in August by Startups.co, came after Zirtual paused operations due to a lack of capital.
Launched in 2011 by CEO Maren Donovan, Zirtual is a large virtual assistant service, with a focus on serving startups and entrepreneurs to manage scheduling, Handle research, purchasing and administrative tasks and provide, or find providers for, things like social media management, copywriting and design.
Led by Wil Schroter, Startups.co has recently acquired startups services like LaunchRock and Clarity.fm, as well as equity crowdfunding company Fundable. It also operates Bizplan.com and KillerStartups.com.
