The Gordian Group, a Greenville, S.C.-based provider of construction cost estimating data and analytics and procurement solutions, acquired Sightlines, a Guilford, CT-based provider of facilities benchmarking data and expertise to higher education institutions.
The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Following the deal, David Kadamus, Sightlines Executive Chairman and Founder, will join the Board of the The Gordian Group while Mark Schiff will continue his role as President of Sightlines, now a division of Gordian.
Founded in 2000, Sightlines provides more than 450 colleges and universities across the U.S. and Canada with independent data to benchmark an institution’s facilities against universities and colleges across the nation.
The acquisition will allow Gordian to add complementary data across historically disparate processes to offer new solutions for facility owners across all stages of the construction and facility asset management lifecycle.
Led by William Pollak, CEO, The Gordian Group provides construction data, software and services for companies to pursue efficient construction planning, estimating and procurement. In 2014, the company had acquired RSMeans, a provider of data, analytics and life cycle cost analysis for commercial and residential construction.
