Virtuagym Raises €2.1M in Series A Funding

virtuagym-logoVirtuagym, an Amsterdam, the Netherlands-based developer of fitness apps, raised €2.1m in Series A funding.

Saffelberg Investments, a private Belgian investment firm, made the investment.

The company will use the funds to further develop its all-in-one fitness software, and expand its adoption to fitness professionals all over the world. It is hiring in any area.

Virtuagym is an online fitness and health platform that provides tools to create workout and nutrition plans and progress tracking. It has its own online community where members can interact with each other, even via integrated apps for iPhone and Android.
The company Besides providing our services to consumers, we have developed Virtuagym Professional, an all-in-one software solution for health clubs and personal trainers. Besides coaching tools, Virtuagym Professional consists of modules for membership administration, billing, and scheduling.
