YouNow, a NYC-based live social network that connects audiences and broadcasters in real time, secured $15m in financing.
The round was co-led by current backers Venrock and Oren Zeev, with participation from new investor Comcast Ventures.
The company will use the funds to continue to expand operations.
Led by Adi Sideman, founder and CEO, YouNow is a live social network that enables audiences and performers to connect in real time. The interactive entertainment platform has over 100 million user sessions a month and live-streams 50,000 hours of new video content every day.
On average, a daily user of YouNow spends 51 minutes per day on the platform.
