Canna Group, Inc., a US-based company focused on the cannabis industry, closed a round of equity financing of undisclosed amount.
Backers included individuals interested in participating in the expanding legal cannabis market.
The company intends to use the funds for expansion, opportunistic investments, and working capital.
Led by Aaron Silverman, Vice President of Sales & CEO, Grant Rollin, Chairman and CFO, and Chris Macaluso, President & COO, Canna Group provides consultation in enterprise value grow facilities producing cannabis, prepares licensing applications, provides advice on management of dispensaries, offers educational courses, creates brands and licensing opportunities and offers proprietary industry-related software, invests in cannabis businesses, and generally mentors companies in the industry.
The company is also co-manager of the venture capital fund Sugar Leaf Capital I LLC.
