Fuzzy Logix Raises $5.5M in Series A Funding

Fuzzy Logix, a Charlotte, North Carolina based startup that provides a predictive analytics platform for Big Data, raised $5.5m in Series A funding.

New Science Ventures made the investment.

The company intends to use the funds for business growth.

Founded by Partha Sen and Michael Upchurch, ex-Investment Bankers from Bank of America, Fuzzy Logix provides DB Lytix™, a predictive analytics platform for Big Data. The company’s in-database software solutions, available on data warehousing and Hadoop platforms, are used by companies in diverse sectors like banking and finance, insurance, retail, manufacturing, marketing services.
Customers include Raymond James and three of the top five healthcare organizations in the US.

The company also has a research and development center in Bangalore, India.
