The round was led by CL Global Healthcare, Inc. In conjunction with the funding, Mr. Hong Zhou, who represents CL Global Healthcare in New York, will be joining VoyagerMed’s board of directors.
The company intends to use the funds to launch the enterprise version of its online marketplace to U.S. doctors.
Led by Anthony Girand and Struan Coleman, VoyagerMed allows people from all over the world to find doctors. The doctors who are part of the network currently include Brian Cole, Harrison Lee, David Rappaport, Ronald Hillock, Victoria Veytsman, Bahram Ghaderi, Shahin Gadir, Dr. Raj and others. The specialties currently served include orthopedics, spine, plastic surgery, fertility, cancer, heart and dental.
