WishList, a Milan, Italy-based startup that offers gift boxes to the B2C and B2B markets, raised €500k in funding.
The round was closed in two different tranches: the first saw the participation from Atlante Seed (Intesa Sanpaolo), Digital Magics, Stefano Alberti, Stefano Miccinelli, and Vela Imprese; the second saw the participation from Rudy Cortesi, Alessandro Gatti, Bruno Tanzarella.
The company intends to use the funds to continue to develop its technology and increase sales efforts.
Led by Lorenzo Ferraboschi, founder and CEO, and Guido Beccari, President, WishList provides a physical and digital gift service that allows people to personalize the box (a message, the box, products) and send it to the recipient via email o email. The recipient can choose his/her favorite products and receives them for free.
The physical gift box is available in supermarkets and large retailers.
For the B2B market, the company is creating a gift box platform including a catalog of 3,000 home and design, sports, outdoor, gourmet and food products for companies to manage their loyalty programs and launch incentives, promotions and prizes for both clients and employees via their corporate web sites.
Over 1,000 companies have already partnered with WishList including Deutsche Bank, Total Erg, Gruppo Banca Sella, Gruppo API – IP, Sisal and other SMEs.
