Administrate, an Edinburgh, Scotland, UK-based software as a service (SaaS) solution for training providers, secured an additional $2.5m (£1.7m) in funding.
The round was led by Scottish angel syndicate Archangels, including investment from the Scottish Investment Bank, the investment arm of Scottish Enterprise.
Led by John Peebles, CEO, Administrate provides large organisations with SaaS-based software to define, manage, report on and sustain employee engagement in relation to training. Its solution includes a training management system designed to allow users to handle all administrative tasks and run their entire business or internal training department; a mobile friendly learning management system; and website integration tools to turn any website into a course booking and registration machine.
Customers include PwC, Elsevier, Scania, Becker, Ag Leader and the Brunswick Corporation.
The company, which had previously raised over £1.9m, currently employs 35 people at its headquarters at CodeBase in Edinburgh.
