Atheer Closes $14M Series B Funding Round

Atheer, a Mountain View, CA-based provider of augmented interactive reality computing platform, closed $14m Series B funding round.

The round was led by Signatures Capital and Streamlined Ventures with participation from Fang Group, Shanda Group, FundersClub and RONA Holdings. In addition to the funding, Joe Kiani, CEO of Masimo, joined Atheer’s board of directors while Michael Patsalos-Fox, CEO of Stroz Friedberg and the former Chairman of the Americas for McKinsey & Company, will join as an advisor.

The company will use the funds to accelerate go-to-market activities and global customer deployment of its solutions.

Led by Alberto Torres, CEO, Atheer provides an augmented interactive reality computing platform which combines augmented reality with intelligent gesture, voice and head-motion interactions as well as real-time rich-media collaboration, to enhance the productivity and safety of deskless professionals at Fortune 1000 companies. The glasses enables viewing rich information critical to workflows, interacting with the information naturally and collaborating with remote peers without the need to hold any device.
Using the Android-based augmented interactive reality OS and suite, developers and companies create enterprise productivity applications and workflows to empower their workforce.

Customers and partners include Dassault Systemes, Flex, KPIT, Masimo, Optech4D, TeamViewer, Zurich Insurance Company, Lumus and NVIDIA.
