BlueLine Grid, a Washington D.C.-based technology company that operates a collaboration network for law enforcement, first responders, and security teams, received a strategic investment from Motorola Solutions.
The amount of the investment, which was made by Motorola Solutions Venture Capital, was not disclosed.
Founded by David Riker and Jack Weiss, BlueLine Grid provides an encrypted suite of messaging, location, conferencing, virtual command, and file-sharing tools dedicated to the needs of public and private security officials, connecting teams internally and with each other on any device.

BETHESDA, Md.- Motorola Solutions has made a strategic investment in BlueLine Grid, an emerging technology company that previously received an investment from In-Q-Tel, the venture arm of the U.S. Intelligence Community, BlueLine Grid has announced.
