CellSavers Raises $3M in Seed Funding

cellsaversCellSavers, a San Diego, CA-based on-demand smartphone repair service provider, raised $3m in seed funding.

Backers included Sequoia Israel and angel investor Robert Antokol (CEO, Playtika). Along with the funding, Sequoia Israel partner Gili Raanan will join the CellSavers board.

The company intends to use the funds to enhance its logistics and expand into other major U.S. cities.

Led by Itai Hirsch, President, and Eyal Ronen, CEO, CellSavers offers vetted technicians to fix smartphones at the time and place of the customers’ choice. Assistance is typically available within 30 minutes or less, .
Launched earlier this year, the service is already active in several major cities across the U.S. and recently launched in San Francisco.
