LindaCare, a Leuven, Belgium-based software company specializing in the field of tele-monitoring solutions for chronic disease patients, closed a €1.5m Series A financing round.
The round was led by Capricorn Venture Partners.
The company intends to use the funds to support the development and launch of its product in key markets in Europe and to extend the software tele-monitoring platform into other chronic disease areas such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
Led by Shahram Sharif, CEO and founder, and Damien De Greef, Chief Commercial Officer and co-founder, LindaCare provides a web-based software platform for the tele-monitoring of patients suffering from chronic heart failure (CHF) and cardiac arrhythmia with Cardiac Implanted Electronic Devices (CIED), estimated today at about 10 million patients worldwide.
