mParticle, a New York City-based customer mobile data platform, raised $15m in funding.
According to a regulatory filing with the S.E.C., a total of 57 backers participated in the offering.
Founded in 2013 by CEO Michael Katz, mParticle provides a customer data platform built for mobile and native apps across all devices. The solution allows app owners to leverage that data to drive audience engagement, retention, and monetization.
The company recently launched several upgrades including changes to its SDKs and a new API for partners to build integrations on top of the platform. The company also announced integration with BI platform LookerData to allow app developers to implement business logic in a reusable way.
