Peppermint Technology, a Nottingham, UK-based legal and dispute management technology provider, raised over £10m in venture capital funding.
Scottish Equity Partners (SEP) made the investment.
The company will use the funds to invest further in the product and people and accelerate its growth in the legal and dispute management market.
Led by Arlene Adams, Founder and CEO, Peppermint Technology provides a cloud-based legal service platform built on Microsoft Dynamics CRM & SharePoint.
The platform, certified by Microsoft, delivers application services (Legal SRA Accounts, Practice Management, Case Management, Document Management, Risk Management, CRM and Business Intelligence) along with collaboration and content tools.
The company currently has more than 5,000 users across 30 legal and dispute management firms, including Blake Morgan, Penningtons Manches and Ombudsman Services.
Launched in 2010, Peppermint now has 60 staff operating from its Nottingham base.
In addition to the funding, the company added Neville Davis as Chairman and Mike Kent as CFO.
