Salesforce (NYSE: CRM) has acquired SteelBrick, a San Mateo CA-based provider of quote-to-cash apps.
The amount the deal was not disclosed.
Founded six years ago, SteelBrick provides small- and mid-sized companies with Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) and Subscription Billing apps, which, built native on the Salesforce Platform and Salesforce1 Mobile, generate sales quotes, proposals, orders and contracts,
The company has over 300 customers, including Cloudera, HootSuite, Marketo, Nutanix and Nimble Storage as well as enterprise companies such as Mitsubishi and Danaher.
Led by Godard Abel, CEO, SteelBrick has raised $78m in capital from such vc backers as Institutional Venture Partners, Emergence Capital, Salesforce Ventures, Shasta Ventures.
