SnapLogic, a San Mateo, CA-based enterprise integration platform as a service (iPaaS) for big data, closed a $37.5m financing.
Backers included Microsoft (NASDAQ: MSFT) and Silver Lake Waterman, the growth capital arm of Silver Lake, which joined existing investors Andreessen Horowitz, Ignition Partners and Triangle Peak Partners.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate growth and expand internationally.
Led by Gaurav Dhillon, founder and CEO, SnapLogic provides a unified data and application integration platform as a service (iPaaS), which enables enterprises to connect to any source, whether on premises, in the cloud or in hybrid environments.
The company currently has more than 400 customers processing more than 55 billion documents per month through its platform as a service.
