The company intends to use the funds to continue to increase growth efforts.
Led by CEO Ian Hogarth, Songkick provides a large artist ticketing platform and concert discovery service, connecting artists with over 10 million unique fans every month. The company’s team supports global artist ticketing sales for thousands of events and hundreds of artists per year, including Kenny Chesney, Crosby, Stills & Nash, Ellie Goulding, Imagine Dragons, Alicia Keys, John Legend, Ricky Martin, Paul McCartney, Metallica, Mumford & Sons and The xx, as well as works with major and independent promoters to market their shows across the UK & US.
Also available via iPhone and Android apps, Songkick integrates with media and streaming services such as Spotify, Deezer, the BBC, Hype Machine, Pitchfork, SoundCloud and YouTube and provides marketing and ticketing services for most of the UK and US’s leading major and independent promoters.
The company, which has offices in London, Los Angeles, Nashville and New York, also counts Index Ventures, and Sequoia Capital amongst its investors.
