Vanitee, a Singapore-based beauty service booking platform, raised S$5m in total funding.
This included:
– a round of $3m, which was closed just last month, which came from serial entrepreneur Ivan Lee (Raging Bull) and Japan’s No.1 beauty portal @cosme.
– an earlier S$2m round from South East Asian beauty distributor Luxasia and angel investor Robert Yap, who runs logistics company YCH.
The company intends to use the funds to begin its expansion into the region next year, starting with Malaysia in the first quarter of 2016.
Founded by Douglas Gan, Peng Kong Choy, Kuik Xiao Shi and Meters Ang, Vanitee is an online booking platform for quality beauty services from independent and emerging artists.
