An affiliate company of Versata Enterprises, Inc., a provider of enterprise software solutions, acquired Compressus, Inc., a Washington, D.C.-based provider of interoperability and workflow solutions for the healthcare IT market.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
The acquisition aims to add Compressus MEDxConnect to Versata’s portfolio of solutions consisting of multiple enterprise software companies acquired and integrated over the past ten years. Compressus will operate as a stand-alone entity with a dedicated customer success and product team.
Versata’s Leela Kaza will assume the role of CEO of Compressus and is looking towards the future for the current customer base.
Established in 2000, Compressus provides the MEDxConnect software, which enables the use of patient information throughout the healthcare organization including relevant electronic patient information, clinical data, lab results and medical images for review, analysis and treatment at the point of care.
