ZeroFOX, a Baltimore, MD-based provider of social media cyber security solutions, raised an additional $27m in funding.
Backers included previous investors New Enterprise Associetes, Genacast Ventures and Core Capital, Silicon Valley Bank, Lane Bess, Tim Eades, and Avi Rubin. In conjunction with the round, Corey Mulloy, general partner at Highland Capital, is joining the ZeroFOX board.
The company intends to use the funds to add investment into engineering, global sales & marketing efforts, increase M&A activities and focus on IP protection & defense.
Led by James C. Foster, Chairman and CEO, ZeroFOX provides a detection and defense platform for social media security threats. By leveraging its technology and security practices, the solution continuously monitors social platforms for cyber attacks, information loss, social engineering campaigns, account compromise and fraud and protects organizations from the next generation of digital threats.
