Convergint Technologies, a provider of integration services for electronic security, fire and life safety, and building automation systems, acquired Dakota Security Systems, a Sioux Falls, SD-based security integration company.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
The acquisition of Dakota Security Systems will aloow Convergint to further expand its geographic reach. The joint organization provides a diverse range of service-focused security and fire solutions, including system design, integration, installation, training and support services with a highly experienced workforce throughout the nation.
Led by Dan Moceri, Executive Chairman, Convergint Technologies is a global organization that designs, installs and services integrated building systems including electronic security, fire alarm and life safety, and building automation solutions. It is is a portfolio company of KRG Fund IV.
Founded in 1976, Dakota Security Systems also has offices in Arizona, New Jersey and throughout the upper Midwest.
