Fireglass, a NYC-based enterprise network security company, raised $20m in Series A funding round.
The round was led by Norwest Venture Partners, Lightspeed Venture Partners, Singtel Innov8, Mickey Boodaei and Rakesh Loonkar.
The company intends to use the funds to expand research and development efforts in addition to building out its sales, marketing and support teams in North America and Europe.
Co-founded by CEO Guy Guzner and CTO Dan Amiga, Fireglass provides an enterprise network security platform that protects against all known and unknown attacks, increases business productivity while consolidating existing security solutions and reducing operational overhead.
The company, which has R&D in Israel, will announce its product in Q1/16.
