VeloCloud Networks Inc., a Mountain View, Calif.-based provider of cloud-delivered SD-WAN™ solutions, closed $27m in Series C financing.
Backers included March Capital Partners and Cisco Investments and existing investors New Enterprise Associates (NEA) and Venrock.
The company, which has raised $49m in total funding, intends to use the funds to expand business operations, accelerate new product development and customer rollouts, ramps up sales and marketing in expanded theaters.
Led by CEO and Co-founder Sanjay Uppal, VeloCloud provides solutions that enable enterprises to expand their wide area networks to support application growth, network agility and simplified branch implementations, while delivering optimized access to cloud datacenters and applications.
VeloCloud SD-WAN includes a choice of public, private or hybrid cloud network for enterprise-grade connection to cloud and enterprise applications; branch office enterprise appliances and optional data center appliances; software-defined control and automation; and virtual services delivery.
