Salt Lake City-based edtech accelerator BoomStartup is accepting applications for the second edition of its program, set to begin on March 28th.
Selected startups – from anywhere in the world – will be invited to join the three-month program, during which they will refine their business model and create a minimal viable product, with the goal of securing funding at the end of the program from private investors, angel groups, venture capitalists, and others.
The teams are supported by a network of mentors and investors, whom include former founders, executives, and experts from the tech and education fields.
Each startup will receive $20k in seed funding and over $400,000 of services.
The inaugural cohort of the lean startup accelerator was completed in November 2015 with companies raising over $1.5m.
BoomStartup is a founding member of the Global Accelerator Network (GAN).
