According to an article on Business Insider, Good Uncle, a NYC-based food delivery startup, raised $2.2m in funding.
Backers included First Round Capital, Box Group, and Gunderson Dettmer and other entrepreneurs.
The company intends to use the funds to build out a team and an app, and expand its network of partner restaurants.
Led by Wiley Cerilli and Matt Doumar, Good Uncle is still in “stealth mode”. It is known that the service will allow customers to order food from iconic restaurants through a mobile app.
