Trinity Ventures, a Menlo Park, CA-based early-stage, technology-focused investment firm, added Schwark Satyavolu, as a general partner effective next month.
Satyavolu brings to Trinity his experience as a cofounder, CEO and public company executive. He cofounded Yodlee, which went public in 2014, and Truaxis, which he ran as CEO before selling the company to MasterCard. At MasterCard, Satyavolu lead all of the company’s global rewards and offers initiatives. In his most recent role as Executive Vice President of Product and Technology for LifeLock (NASDAQ: LOCK), a consumer identity theft prevention company, he was part of the core leadership team.
Satyavolu has been a formal or informal advisor to several fintech startups over the years, including BillGuard and Personal Capital.
Trinity Ventures, which recently raised its $400 twelfth fund, invests in early-stage technology companies with emphases on Cloud and Mobile Infrastructure, Software-as-a-Service, Digital Media, and Social and Mobile Commerce.
