CrowdRiff, a Toronto, Canada-based provider of a visual influence platform, raised $2m in funding.
Backers included BDC Capital, Gibraltar Ventures, High Alpha Capital and Foundation Capital.
The company intends to use the funds for product innovation, hiring sales and marketing people and build out its visual influence platform.
Led by Co-founder and CEO Dan Holowack, CrowdRiff provides a visual and social marketing solution to destination and travel brands to use photos and videos to create compelling experiences across their digital channels.
Customers include Colorado Tourism, Travel Portland, Explore British Columbia, Azamara Cruises, Shedd Aquarium, Pebble Beach Resorts and the Royal Ontario Museum.
