Pathmatics, a Santa Monica, CA-based intelligence platform for the online advertising industry, raised $3m in Series A funding.
The round was led by digital media technology investor Bertelsmann Digital Media Investments (BDMI) with participation from existing investors Upfront Ventures, Karlin Ventures, Baroda Ventures, Double M Partners, Daher Capital, and new investors Wavemaker Partners and Manatt Venture Fund. In conjunction with the funding, Sim Blaustein, Partner at BDMI, joined Pathmatics’ board of directors.
The company intends to use the funds for continued global expansion and for further investment in its proprietary technology.
Founded in 2010 by Gabe Gottlieb, CEO, Pathmatics provides PathSource™, patent-pending technology that analyzes digital advertising activity and delivers real-time, actionable intelligence to advertisers, agencies, publishers and ad tech providers.
The company also has offices in New York.
