Permission Click Inc., a Winnipeg, Canada-based provider of a platform for schools to create registration forms and permission slips for events and activities, closed a $1.75M seed funding round.
Backers included Friesens Corp. and Real Ventures, among others.
The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and school adoption across Canada.
Led by Chris Johnson, CEO, Permission Click provides a cloud based platform for schools and parents to coordinate permission slips, forms and payments required for student participation in school activities and events including field trips, fundraising programs, yearbook sales, and other school events. Forms are electronically sent to parents who can respond on any device to approve attendance, fill out forms, and pay any associated fees online, with no apps to install.
Permission Click is free of charge and can be deployed in less than 15 minutes. Additional premium district-level features and controls are available for a per student, per year license fee.
