SourceKnowledge, a Montreal, Canada-based performance video advertising technology company, raised $1.5m in funding.
BDC Capital, a subsidiary of the Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC), made the investment.
The company intends to use the funds to scale adoption of its performance advertising platform Engage across North America.
Led by president and co-founder Patrick Hopf, SourceKnowledge provides Engage, a platform that allows mobile gaming and app publishers, eCommerce brands, SaaS companies and performance driven agencies to create data-driven campaigns by leveraging video and display assets, data targeting and re-engagement capabilities across across mobile, tablets, web browsers and connected TVs.
The solution enables campaigns to access more than 60 billion ad opportunities every month through partnerships with Facebook, Google, Twitter, LiveRail, AOL, DailyMotion and SpotXchange.
The company also has offices in Vancouver.
