eMerge Americas Secures Major Investment Round

emerge_americaseMerge Americas, a Coral Gables, FL-based B2B technology and innovation conference connecting companies with business and government leaders from North America, Latin America and Europe, secured a major investment round.

The round was led by Orkila Capital, a media growth equity firm based in New York, and the event’s founder, Manuel D. Medina, with participation from Armando Christian Perez, Alex Rodriguez, Mike Fernandez, Brian Ballard, and Bob Dickinson. In addition to the funding, Frank Anton, Vice Chairman and ex-CEO of trade show industry leader Hanley-Wood, joined eMerge’s Board.

The company will use the funds to continue building the event’s size, content scope and brand.

Created by Knight Foundation, Miami-Dade County, Medina Capital, Greenberg Traurig and Miami Herald, eMerge Americas is a B2B technology event format of the Americas, which connects industry and government leaders across Latin America, North America and Europe.
The third edition of eMerge Americas will be held at the Miami Beach Convention Center April 18 and 19.
