Globality, a Menlo Park, CA-based stealth-mode startup and developer of a platform to facilitate cross-border trade, secured $27.25m in Series B funding.
The company intends to use the funds to continue to hire talent to build and bring to market its new platform.
Co-founded in March 2015 by Joel Hyatt and Lior Delgo, Globality is advancing a platform which uses artificial intelligence and human curation to enable small and midsize companies to participate in the global economy.
Investors in the company include Al Gore; Ron Johnson, John Joyce, Michael Marks, and Ken Goldman.
Globality recently added three new board members:
– Juliet de Baubigny, Senior Partner of Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers;
– Mark Hurd, CEO of Oracle Corporation; and
– Mark Vorsatz, Managing Director and CEO of Andersen Tax.
