IBM (NYSE: IBM) Security completed the acquisition of Resilient Systems Inc., a Cambridge, Mass.-based provider of incident response solutions.
The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The company, now known as Resilient, an IBM Company, joins the IBM Security business unit and will be part of an expansion of the company’s capabilities in the incident response marketplace.
Led by John Bruce, CEO, Resilient provides incident response platform technology that enables clients to respond to security breaches allowing orchestration of response process across functions (security, HR, finance, government relations, etc.) and across security systems (those monitoring data, applications, end points, networks, etc.). The company, which also allows clients to respond to increasing regulation, has more than 100 global customers and approximately 100 employees.
