Sqreen Raises $2.3M in Funding

sqreenSqreen, a Paris, France-based app security startup, raised $2.3m in funding.

Backers included Alven Capital, Point Nine Capital, Kima Ventures, 50 Partners and business angels Francis Nappez, Marc Verstaen, Philippe Plichon, Thibaud Elziere and Justin Ziegler.

The company will use the funds to continue to develop the solution and expand operations.

Led by Jean-Baptiste Aviat and Pierre Betouin, Sqreen provides a software-as-a-service platform to inspect apps and protect them real-time. According to the company, the defenses continuously adapt and improve from millions of rules and attacks sourced from its community. The installation is quick and and doesn’t require change in the code.
