VividCortex, a Charlottesville, VA-based database performance monitoring platform for enterprises, raised an additional $4.5m in Series A funding.
The round was led by New Enterprise Associates (NEA) with participation from previous investors including Battery Ventures and Jaffray Woodriff.
The company will use the funds to accelerate product development and sales.
Founded in 2012 by Baron Schwartz, CEO, VividCortex provides a software-as-a-service solution for enterprises to challenge database inefficiency, slowness, and downtime by measuring and analyzing every query’s performance, behavior, and semantics via patented data analytics and anomaly detection algorithms that automatically surface relevant information.
VividCortex currently supports MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis databases, and plans to add support for more database platforms. It now has over 100 enterprise customers in a variety of verticals such as ecommerce, finance, healthcare, and sales and marketing technology.
