Waltz Networks, a San Francisco, CA-based startup using control schemes to enable networks of all sizes to be self-managing, raised $8.15m in Series A funding.
New Enterprise Associates made a $6.75m investment while National Science Foundation provided a $1.4m grant.
The company intends to use the funds to expand its hiring and product development efforts.
Founded by Cornell University researchers Nithin Michael, CEO, Kevin Tang, CTO, Waltz Networks provides innovative control schemes which enable intelligent, real-time network control that can be integrated into any network for improvements in resiliency and performance.
