Appointedd, a Edinburgh, UK-based provider of appointment booking software, raised £595k in funding.
The round was led by Equity Gap, a business angel syndicate actively investing and co-investing in early stage Scottish based companies, with participation from The Scottish Investment Bank, the investment arm of Scottish Enterprise, Gareth Williams, founder of Skyscanner, and Marie Macklin, founder of Macklin Enterprise Partnerships.
The company intends to use the funds to scale globally, trebling the size of its team.
Led by Founder and CEO Leah Hutcheon, Appointedd provides an online booking software featuring online payment, business management, email & SMS marketing, confirmations & reminders tools.
The solution integrates with FreeAgent, Stripe, Eposnow, Cronofy, etc.
