Maana Raises $26M in Series B Funding

maana_logoMaana, a Palo Alto, California, and Bellevue, Washington-based analytics platform that operationalizes big data insights into line-of-business applications, raised $26m in Series B funding.

The round was led by Saudi Aramco Energy Ventures, the corporate venturing arm of Saudi Aramco, with participation from Shell Technology Ventures, and existing investors GE Ventures, Chevron Technology Ventures, Intel Capital, and Frost Data Capital. In conjunction with the funding, Dhiraj Malkani, Investment Director at Saudi Aramco Energy Ventures and Andy Fligel, Director at Intel Capital, will join Maana’s Board. Carl Stjernfeldt, North America Venture Manager at Shell, will join as a Board Observer.

The company intends to use to use the funds to expand product development, and build the sales and marketing teams.

Led by Babur Ozden founder and chief executive officer, Maana provides an advanced analytics platform that operationalizes big data insights into line-of-business applications. Its enterprise knowledge graph enables companies to analyze data in multiple silos simultaneously and optimize their key assets and business processes.
