OutboundEngine, an Austin, Texas-based automated marketing platform for small business owners to uncover the best sales opportunities in their networks, closed a $16m Series C funding.
The round was led by Austin-based S3 Ventures, with participation from Silverton Partners, Noro-Moseley, Harmony Partners, Altos Ventures and Capital Factory.
The company, which has raised $33.8m to date, will use the funds to add people to its Austin and Scottsdale offices, develop new product features and pursue additional vertical markets.
Led by Branndon Stewart, CEO, OutboundEngine provides a cloud-based marketing platform that allows business owners to automate the delivery of tailored e-mail, social and content marketing programs for all kinds of industries.
The company, which currently serves more than 7,500 customers, plans to focus on developing more personalized communications and enhancing platform intelligence to increase actionable results.
