Outbrain, a NYC-based online content dicovery platform, raised $45m in funding.
CEO Yaron Galai has invested in the round. Other backers were not disclosed.
The company intends to use the funds for product innovation, both organically and through acquisitions.

The company currently serves 200 billion personalized content recommendations every month reaching over 561 million unique visitors from across the globe.
Top-tier premium publications using Outbrain include CNN, ESPN, Le Monde, Fox News, The Guardian, Slate, The Telegraph, New York Post, Times of India and Sky News.
The company recently acquired Los Angeles-based software company Reeve to algorithmically maximize the revenue for publishers.
