Showpad, a San Francisco, CA- and Ghent, Belgium-based provider of a content activation platform, secured $50m in Series C funding.
The round was led by Insight Venture Partners with participation from previous investors Dawn Capital and Hummingbird Ventures. In conjunction with the funding, Jeff Horing, Co-Founder and Managing Director, Insight Venture Partners, will join Showpad’s board of directors.
The company intends to use the funds to continue to expand operations, accelerate the growth of its sales and marketing teams globally, and further enhance its platform.
Led by Pieterjan Bouten and Louis Jonckheere, Showpad delivers a platform which makes content easy to find, present, share, and measure. The platform enables sales and marketing teams to work together to deliver content to and engage the right audience, advance conversations, inspire loyalty, and accelerate business.
The company, which currently serves hundreds of customers worldwide including Johnson & Johnson, GE, Coca-Cola Enterprises, Xerox, Kimberly-Clark, and Bridgestone, is also announcing the launch of two new products to activate content within email and CRM to further strengthen its current offering.
Showpad also has offices in Portland and in London.
