Tradesy, a Santa Monica, CA-based online platform for women’s second-hand luxury clothes & accessories, raised $30m in a Series C funding round.
Backers included Wildcat Capital Management and existing investors Kleiner Perkins Caulfield & Byers and Rincon Venture Partners.
The company, which has raised $75m in total funding to date, will use the funds to continue to expand operations.
Launched in 2012 and led by CEO Tracy DiNunzio, Tradesy operates a marketplace that allows people to buy and sell second hand luxury clothing and accessories products including bags and shoes, and a service taking care of shipping, returns, and payment.
The marketplace is available online at https://www.tradesy.com/ and via iOS and Android apps.
