Gladly, a San Francisco, CA-based customer service startup, raised $27m in funding.
Backers included Greylock Partners and New Enterprise Associates.
Led by CEO Joseph Ansanelli (who is also a partner at Greylock), Gladly has emerged from stealth launching a cloud-based software for the contact center market serving B2C brands.
The solution provides contact center representatives with a unified communication channel platform that spans across voice, email, chat, web, SMS, & social networks to give them the tools to switch between communication streams from any device.
The solution also gives a 360 degree customer view, including buying history, lifetime value, location, demographics, and other information needed to create a more personalized, engaged experience as well as a suite of analytics and reporting.
