Qimple, a Moncton, NB-based HR software company, raised $1.1m in seed funding.
The round was led by the New Brunswick Innovation Foundation (NBIF), with participation from Green Century Investment.
The company, which has raised $1.6m in total funding to date being also backed by 500 Startups (Batch 12), will use the funds to grow its team.
Founded in 2014 by CEO Yves Boudreau, Qimple provides a HR platform that enables a better interaction between employers and job seekers to improve the overall online hiring process and is advancing the Resume Snapshot tool which will be accessible directly in the applicant tracking system to support the daily tasks of hiring managers.
The company, which is now approaching $1 million in revenue since inception, has also doubled its team to 12 people in the past three months.
Clients include Audiobooks.com and CareGuide.
