Karaoke One (Lisari Srl), a Rome, Italy-based Karaoke social app, raised €450k in funding.
Backers included Italian Stock Exchange listed LVenture, which invested €150k, with the remaining sum coming from business angels.
The round, which postmoney valued the company at €1.85m, will enable karaoke One to launch the iOS and Android versions of the app, which are already in private beta.
Led by Antonio Vecchio, CEO, Karaoke One provides a Windows app that allows people to record and share their vocal performances. According to w written note, the app has been downloaded half a million times from around the world.
The company was accelerated within Rome-based LUISS ENLABS.
